"Human Rights" Training will be on 17 October 2018
CSO Clinique trainings conducted by Kadir Has University International Relations and Center for European Studies (CIES) continues with "Human Rights". The will be held in partnership with Citizens Assembly on October 17, 2018. İştar Gözaydın will lead the training.
"Young Leaders" Training will be on 26-28 October 2018
Center for International and European Studies at Kadir Has University (CIES) organizes “Young Leaders” training program. Three days training will be held on October 26-28 with the participation of experts in İstanbul. Strengthening civil society and youth engagement are among the This training is designed to contribute young people's central position in good governance and to support their active participation, offers a program that will increase the knowledge of the participants and will strengthen their skills.
"Digital Leadership" Training will be on 25 September 2018
CSO Clinique trainings conducted by Kadir Has University International Relations and Center for European Studies (CIES) continue with "Digital Leadership". The training will be held in partnership with Corporate Social Responsibility Turkey (CSR Turkey) on September 25, 2018. Gokhan Yucel, who specializes in digitalization, leadership and education, will lead the training.
"Psychological First Aid" Training will be on 12 September 2018
It's becoming increasingly difficult for those working in suffering and hard humanitarian situations to keep themselves psychologically healthy in crisis situations. For this reason, STK Clinique, on 12 September 2018, will focus on "Psychological First Aid and Self Care" in partnership with Association for Trauma Studies.
"Conflict Resolution and Consensus Building" Training will be on 28-30 September 2018
Good governance, by definition, the participation of all relevant parties in the processes. For this reason, the CIES will organize a training on 28-29-30 September 2018 named “Conflict Resolution and Consensus Building” in order to strengthen young people's ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts and to become impactful actors in the consensus building.
“Regional Development Policies” Training (In Partnership with Habitat Association) Conducted On 10 July 2018
The development issue has been one of the most remarkable issues for CSOs operating in Turkey. CSO Clinique dated July 10, 2018, hosted representatives from two different institutions that funded and made big projects on this subject.

On 18 June 2018, CIES CSO Clinique organized a training entitled ‘Cyber Security’ with the collaboration of Kadir Has University Cyber Security and Critical Infrastructure Protection Application and Research Center.
“Project Management” Training Held on 29 May 2018
Project Management is a knowledge and skill that have vital priorities to ensure successful completion of a budget, human resources and time that Civil Society Organizations (CSO) put forward for change. For this purpose, on 29 May 2018, CIES CSO Clinique organized a training under the title of "Project Management" in cooperation with TOG (Community Volunteers Foundation).
22 June 2018, CSO Clinique Training: Urbanization and Sustainable Citites (In Partnership with WRI Turkey)
In our training on 22 June 2018, in partnership with WRI Turkey Sustainable Cities, we focused on Urbanization and Sustainable Cities. WRI Turkey Sustainable Cities Urban Development and Accessibility Manager Dr. Çiğdem Çörek Öztaş focused on Livable Cities and Transportation Solutions.
Needs Assesment Workshop for CSOs Conducted on 5 June 2018
With the participation of key actors in civil society and research centers, the CIES organized a Needs Assessment Workshop on June 5, 2018 to identify changing needs in civil society organizations, identify priority areas for training and capacity building, and encourage constructive dialogue. This workshop focused on two main topics that are mainly targeting the capacities of CSOs: Institutional Capacity and Human Resources.
“CSO Clinique: Sustainable Development” Training Held on 18 April 2018
In partnership with “UNDP Regional Hub” in Istanbul and “Sustainable Development Solutions Network Turkey” at Boğaziçi University, the CIES hold the third CSO Clinique about “Sustainable Development and Agenda 2030” on 18 April 2018.
22 May 2018 Training: CSO Governance
Adopting good governance for civil society organizations (CSOs) is the key to build confidence in their institutions, to make more inclusive decisions and to build a sustainable future. With this approach, we organized a training called “CSO Governance” on May 22, 2018 in cooperation with Argüden Governance Academy. By this training, we aimed to help to improve organization and human resources in CSOs in order to help CSO to operate more efficiently.
CSO Clinique: Urbanization and Sustainable Cities (In Partnership with WRI Turkey Sustainable Citites)
Sustainable Development Goals include sustainable cities and habitats as the 11th target will be the starting lesson of STK Clinique. In our training on 22 June 2018, in partnership with WRI Turkey Sustainable Cities, we will focus on Urbanization and Sustainable Cities.
CSO Clinique: Cyber Security (In Partnership with Kadir Has University Cyber Security Critical Infrastructure Protection Research Center)
While cyber technology provides opportunities and facilities such as information storage and transmission, it has also caused to the emergence of a new security threats especially in recent years. For this purpose, on 18 June 2018, CIES CSO Clinique will organize a training entitled ‘Cyber Security’ in cooperation with Cyber Security and Critical Infrastructure Protection Application and Research Center at Kadir Has University.
Youth Committee Met with the Rector
On 24 April, the representatives of the Youth Committee met with Prof. Sondan Durukanoğlu Feyiz, the Rector of Kadir Has University, to explain the project, the committee and the possibility to conduct the pilot study of the research with the students of Kadir Has University. The Rector welcomed the group in an amicable context and indicated that she will support the study.

8 May 2018 Training: Migration in Turkey
Turkey is considered as a country of emigration and immigration. Due to the increasing human mobility as a result of the latest regional conflicts, migration in general, has become an important agenda for national, regional and international institutions. The aim of the “Migration in Turkey” training on 8 May 2018 (with the training partnership with IGAM) is to analyze these subjects in depth.

30 April 2018 CSO Clinique in Cooperation with TEMA: Climate Change
In partnership with TEMA (The Turkish Foundation for Combating Soil Erosion for Reforestation and the Protection of Natural Habitats), CIES will hold the fourth training about Climate Change on 30 April 2018 (Monday).
Advisory Committee Meeting
A high level Advisory Committee will have its first meeting in 11 April 2018. The Committee is composed of prominent members of Turkish society who are intellectually and/or actively involved in social issues such as environment, education, migration, leadership, and civil society.
International High Level Roundtable
The Advisory Committee together with civil society from across Europe and Turkey will take part in this event. The roundtable is intended to encourage a lively debate on the current needs of CSOs, their strengths and challenges; a brainstorming session on the changing role of civil society is also envisaged. These discussions will be moderated by an experienced professional in order to attain a constructive dialogue. In a nutshell, the objective is to have a thought provoking discussions and suggestions essential for future action.
